SHENZHEN, CHINA, October 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — EraSmart is pleased to announce it has introduced its A1 and A2 fluorescent DTF printers for apparel customization studios, print service providers, and event merchandise producers. The models combine compatible fluorescent inks with the direct-to-film heat-transfer process, allowing designs to be applied to garments and other suitable textiles for effects that change with the lighting conditions.
According to the company, an event T-shirt may be seen in daylight long before it reaches a stage or dance floor. Fluorescent graphics can give lettering and artwork a vivid appearance under ordinary light, with a more pronounced glowing effect under suitable ultraviolet blacklight. The new printers offer a way to incorporate those effects into custom apparel designed for festivals, performances, and themed events.
The printing process begins with a design printed onto transfer film using fluorescent inks and a white ink underbase. Hot-melt adhesive powder is then applied and cured before a heat press transfers the graphic onto fabric. Printer hardware, inks, and printing software must be compatible, and operators should follow the configuration and process settings specified for the selected A1 or A2 model.
The fluorescent components in the ink absorb light at specific wavelengths and emit part of that energy as visible light. This response requires illumination from a suitable light source. Fluorescence differs from the phosphorescent effect commonly associated with glow-in-the-dark materials, which can continue emitting light after the source is switched off.
Potential applications include themed T-shirts, performance apparel, music festival clothing, and branded event merchandise. Designers can use fluorescent colors in a logo or selected elements of a larger graphic, taking the intended venue lighting into account. Canvas bags and other textiles may also be suitable following compatibility testing.
“We founded EraSmart to help more people turn their ideas into tangible, useful products,” says Henry Xu, Founder of EraSmart. “Through easy-to-use printing equipment, supporting tools, and ongoing technical support, we aim to help creators and small businesses take the first step—from making their first piece to gradually building their own customization business.”
Physical samples are an important part of preparing a fluorescent apparel project. The final appearance depends on the ink formulation, white underbase, fabric, and transfer process, as well as the lighting in which the garment is viewed. Evaluating a sample under both ordinary lighting and the intended blacklight conditions helps a print provider assess the effect before production. Fabric compatibility, wash resistance, and long-term color performance also require testing.
EraSmart supplies compatible consumables and one-to-one technical assistance to support equipment selection and use. The company brings together in-house research and development, manufacturing, international sales, and after-sales service, with ongoing technical support subject to its official service terms.
