COLUMBUS, OH, UNITED STATES, October 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Irth, a leading provider of enterprise software for critical infrastructure, today announced the acquisition of NetBenefit Software, a provider of stakeholder engagement and socioeconomic impact software for extractive and energy projects.

The acquisition expands Irth’s stakeholder and land management capabilities, adding NetBenefit’s expertise in local content performance management and socioeconomic impact tracking. The companies will provide organizations with a complete view of stakeholder relationships, land, commitments and community impact in one connected technology portfolio.

“NetBenefit is a natural extension of what we’re building at Irth,” said Patrick Gregoire, General Manager for Stakeholder and Land Management at Irth. “Our customers are managing increasingly complex relationships among assets, land, communities and other stakeholders. By bringing NetBenefit’s local content and social performance capabilities together with our existing stakeholder and land management solutions, we can help customers see and manage more of that picture in one place.”

Organizations managing complex infrastructure and major projects often rely on separate systems and processes to manage stakeholder engagement, land information, local content programs and community commitments. This acquisition creates a more connected approach, giving customers greater visibility into the relationships, obligations and socioeconomic impacts surrounding their operations.

“Joining Irth brings together complementary solutions that offer our customers greater value. With Irth’s scale, we can help more organizations track their socioeconomic impact and raise the standard for how projects measure their impact on the people and communities around them,” said Matt Adams, CEO, NetBenefit Software.

“We’re excited to welcome the NetBenefit team to Irth,” said Brad Gammons, CEO of Irth. “Together, we’re able to provide a broader set of capabilities to better serve stakeholders in communities where critical infrastructure exists.”

The acquisition combines two established stakeholder engagement platforms and expands Irth’s presence in utilities, telecommunications, oil and gas, renewable energy, mining and other critical infrastructure markets. Customers gain access to more capabilities, while the combined customer base will help accelerate development of new features.

NetBenefit’s investment in artificial intelligence will also accelerate Irth’s AI strategy. Combining the companies’ technology and data expertise creates opportunities to accelerate AI-driven capabilities that help organizations surface insights across stakeholder, land and social performance information.

The acquisition advances Irth’s broader strategy for protecting and managing critical infrastructure and the communities where that infrastructure is built and operates across the value chain. Irth’s technology supports the critical assets and networks that transport and deliver energy, materials and essential services. NetBenefit extends that reach closer to the source, including the mines and major projects that supply the critical materials those networks depend on.

Together, the companies are positioned to connect more of the information surrounding critical infrastructure from the communities and land where essential resources originate to the assets and networks that ultimately deliver them.
