CHICAGO, IL, UNITED STATES, October 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Advanced Moving & Storage has moved its Lisle office to 3333 E Warrenville Rd, Suite 200, next door to its previous home at 4200 Commerce Court, after that building closed. The family-owned company packed, loaded and set up the new suite with its own crew.
Only the address has changed. Hours, staff and the service area are the same, and the office remains the company’s base for movers in Lisle and nearby DuPage County towns, including Naperville, Glen Ellyn, Downers Grove, Westmont and Lombard.
“We move offices for other companies regularly, but it’s a different job when it’s your own desks and your own phone lines,” said Tyler Lalagos, who runs the business with his father, founder Jim Lalagos. “Carrying the furniture next door was the easy part. Most of the work was the planning before and the paperwork after.”
Based on its own move, the company listed five steps it recommends to businesses in Lisle and across DuPage County that are planning a relocation:
• Start with the buildings. Ask both property managers for their move rules, including loading dock and elevator reservations, approved moving hours and insurance paperwork, before setting a date.
• Number the new floor plan. Give every office, workstation and storage room a number, then label each box and piece of furniture to match so the crew can place items without stopping to ask.
• Move when the office is empty. Evening and weekend moves keep phones, computers and staff working through the business week.
• Change the address everywhere at once. Update the website, the Google Business Profile, invoices, vendor accounts and mail on the same day. Google says profile edits usually appear within about 10 minutes but can take up to 30 days. USPS standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months and can take 7 to 10 business days to start.
• Decide where the extras go. Surplus furniture, old files and equipment that won’t fit the new space can sit in short-term storage until the business decides what to keep.
“A business can lose a week to a move that should take a day, usually because nobody checked the building rules or the labels didn’t match the floor plan,” Lalagos said. “Those are the same things we had to get right for ourselves.”
The company handles office moves for businesses ranging from small professional offices to multi-floor operations, including furniture disassembly and reassembly, equipment handling and setup to the client’s floor plan. It also offers climate-controlled storage for phased moves and surplus inventory.
Businesses and households can reach the Lisle office at 630-369-8422. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
